A life devoted
to the art of the needle

My name is Irena, and I am an embroidery designer from Latvia. My passion for needlework began in childhood, inspired by my grandmother — and it grew into a lifelong pursuit of embroidery as fine art.

NEW CHAPTER ● 1IG525

From needle to metal — a new creative journey

In May 2025, I created my very first silver ring. That first step captivated me so deeply that I've been learning silversmithing ever since — setting up a new workspace, finding mentors, letting my hands slowly learn the language of metal. I've given these works a temporary brand name, 1IG525 — combining the date of creation with my initials as an embroiderer. My heart still belongs to embroidery, but a new door has opened.
