Nuit Blanche | Embroidered Moth Brooch Masterclass

  • 365 Days
  • 8 Steps

Launch price €25 with code NUITBLANCHE - until 18 October Nuit Blanche is a masterclass in which you create a three-dimensional embroidered moth brooch - a night-blue moth carrying a garden of white flowers on its wings. COURSE-GALLERY - https://irenagasha.com/course-gallery#nuit-blanche One technique. One material. One moth. The whole moth is embroidered with sequins and a single technique - sequins sewn with the Luneville hook. You will see that a striking piece doesn't require knowing everything - it requires knowing one thing well. The moth is not flat. The wings, the thirty small flowers and the large head flower are embroidered separately, then cut out and assembled, so the finished brooch lifts and catches the light. In 7 video lessons you will: - transfer the design and prepare the frame - embroider the wings with cup sequins over a wire frame - embroider thirty white flowers and the head flower with a soft transition from dark blue to white - treat the flowers with glue and tint the organza - attach the flowers and finish the wings with a velvet backing - make the velvet body, antennae and eyes, and turn the moth into a brooch The lessons are silent, so you can follow every movement at your own pace. Under each video you will find a written description and tips I have gathered over the years. PDF pattern sheets are included. Feel free to change the flower layout or the colours - every moth will carry the handwriting of its maker. Finished size: 12 x 9 cm (width x height) Level: for those who already know the basics of the Luneville hook Access: 1 year from the date of purchase Languages: lesson descriptions in English, Russian and Latvian
