THE GOLDEN SILENCE/phone bag
The body is made of pure black silk velvet. The graphic black-and-gold composition combines black velvet with thousands of antique beads, stitched by hand with a Luneville hook. The embroidery combines antique micro beads with vintage gold-lined seed beads, creating a surface that shifts between deep matte and crystalline shimmer depending on the light.
The frame is a restored antique purse clasp with decorative grillwork detail, fitted with a chain handle. Interior is lined with pure silk taffeta and has one inner pocket.12 × 20 cm · Frame opening: 12 × 12 cm
